Paddington House of Pancakes

Paddington House of Pancakes(P-HOP) is the 1st full dining specialty pancake restaurant in Asia. PHOP has wide range of pancakes to be serve to their customers. And this Valentine, im so happy that i able to have a sweet and nice lunch with my loved one.

This Valentine, PHOP has introduced a special set meal for two at the price of RM98++. We have search for some place around The Curve and finally we decide to have something sweet and new thing to try...Pancake...lol

In the Valentine set meal, each couple will be able to try their favourite sizzling French crepes, a drink of any from PHOP's beverages list and a Valentime surprise dessert for FREE...each of us had choose a different type of crepes and drinks so we could have taste more from what PHOP has offer to the customers.

Stuffed Chicken with Prawns, Chicken Ham, Mushroom, Mozzarella & Pineapple whereby served with homemade orange marmalade sauce - This is really cool as there are many ingrediants which i cant imagined i can get it in 1 dish only. haha...there are chicken, seafood(prawn), ham, mushroom, cheese(mozarrella) and even fruits(pineapples / marmalade sauce). The dish really great and i enjoy it so much and also im really full too...There will be a french crepe along the dish whereby you can spread the crepe with the sweet sauces and top ur crepes with slices of meats...yummy....guess what, all the dish is served with a "cooking pan"....

Grilled Lamb Leg with Garlic & roasted eggplant whereby served with homemade apple sauce - the waitress is very friendly that she has asked whether the lamb leg need to be mediumly cooked or to be done. The grilled lamb leg is nice to be served with the apple sauce. Erm, large portion too..ahaha...good for my bf...

Ice Mocha(left) - a good drink for those who love coffee...a heavy cream on top and think coffee / choc syrup on below...In between must be the fresh milk..

Blueberry, Mango & ice cream (right)- a mix blended of blueberry and mango which was recommended by the waitress. Wow....sour a bit and it suit my taste...and on top with a vanila ice cream. i scope a small spoon of the ice cream and it cover with the blended blueberry and mango...and as you eat it, the ice cream slowly melted inside the mouth. My comment, make sure you finish the whole scope of ice cream....before it melted inside the glass...then it like not so appetizing...haha...

Our surpise Valentine dessert...haha....It just so lovely that i dont even noticed that the dessert actually says everything....there is many pancake with the shape like the letter of " I LOVE U" nicely decorated...wow...really lovely that i felt i do not wish to eat it. I can see there are many pancake which the shape like heart....and on top of the vanilla ice cream and lots of mix fruits(banana, strawberry nad prunes). We were given a small jug of honey to be eaten together with the pancake shaped I LOVE U or you can eat it with the strawberry jam which just spread in between the dish...It just make my Valentines so sweet and loving.

My bf hope we can go there for more pancakes & desserts...The meals is really full and we are very satisfy with it. Thanks PHOP for giving us such a nice Valentine.

Happy Valentine to Everyone....its never too late as everyday will be also be a Valentine Day if you really appreaciate every single minutes with your loved ones.

Station One Café

Main Entrance

The Environment

Dinner time. Hehe…we are unsure what to eat and we have walk around Jaya One. By the time, we give up, we spotted Station One Café. What I like best is their “Yestea”…so we just get in without thinking. We find our place and then look through the menu. Erm, during such bad economic, I think we should have something which is the price is reasonable. We saw a leaflet stating there have some set menu which offering a good price with a good food too. I think this is the Grand Opening Promotion….which this outlet is situated at Jaya One.

Iced Yestea

Soup of the Day

My bf had ordered a Chicken Chop Rice(RM9.90++). A set which inclusive of daily soup and a glass of Yestea….nice…The gravy they provided for the chicken is black pepper sauce. If normal price, this set will cost about RM16.90…

I have order myself a Chicken Ham Croissant (RM6.30) – a croissant bread stuffed with chicken ham and some green salads…I think I consider it is a light food for my night time….

I had chosen Apple Mix Cucumber (RM7.60). A 100% healthy fruit juice. It is actually the cucumber is being blended as juice..then add in apple syrup. You can see from the picture whereby the thick apple syrup is on the bottom. I just need to mix it well and you taste a sweet cucumber juice which have the taste of apple too..haha…Good try. I love it actually. It is not so bad as what im thinking…

Old Town White Coffee

Im sure all of you have been heard of Old Town White Coffee and it should a nice place to have a drink with friends. Actually it is one of the place I would choose if going for my breakfast. The nearest is the branch which is situated opposite the Taman Midah. Im not sure why, I have noticed this is the kopitiam which really pack of peoples especially at night. My fav food at there will be their Rendang Nasi Lemak…

During the day, my bf had order Chicken Slice Hor Fun – actually the taste is very simple and ingredient is also not as much as what we can get from other stall. But sometimes, after we get bored with their nasi lemak, is nice to have a try of the mee soup.

While for me, I got myself a Tom Yam Mee Hun – Erm, for those who really love tom yam, I think this will be a sad thing for them. It something like what we cook our own tom yam in a fast way. Not much ingredient….what I have is some crab sticks, vegetables and few slices of fish cake…What weirds, they put a lot of fried dry shrimp…on top of the mee hun …not sure why? To add taste??

For drinks, my bf ordered a cup white coffee whereby he thinks this is the best of all the drinks there. I think for those coffee lovers, they can try there. I prefer something sour and sweet, because in hope can burn some fats after a meal lol…so I have order Honey Lemon Juice.

Erm, the toast is nice actually. Everytime we sure order a double toast(kaya & butter) to add as our side dishes..hehe..their bread is brown in color, not because the bread is over cooked but is the original color of it…

Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant

Their Menu

Steamboat Pot

Talking about steamboat, I did actually go to few steamboats since before my blogs is being created. I wish to get back to the previous shop and post more photos for you all. For this time, we just pass by Sunway Damansara and that time, the weather is kinda cold. So, we just wish to have some hot soup. So we have chosen this steamboat restaurant. Erm, this steamboat is just offering 1 type of soup only.

We checked on the menu and we have order a set menu which consists of RM13.50 per person. The menu needs to be served for 2 person (total RM27 per menu set). So the set will consist of a large plate of prawns, tau fu, fishball, fish meat, vegetables and many other things. The small plate will have mee hun and eggs. When the plate is served, we just put all the things into the hot pot and wait it to be cooked and time to eat.

We also got add on a side dish - Fish paste noodle(RM5). One of our favourite dish when we eat steamboat.

The menu set should be enough for 2 person but somehow we are not sure that time, we might be very hungry, we have order another 1 set(for 2 person)…and eat….haha..the waitress who look at us also smile and say we are a “good” eater. Aikkks…bad impression. My bf ‘s ideas lol….might be we did not have our lunch that time.

Just try it yourself if you are staying nearby there…and do comments if you been drop by there…

Daiso Japan

Erm, ever think where to get something imported from Japan for just RM5 ?? I just spotted this shop at The Curve. My bf and I felt so curious and just walk in to have a look. To be honest, there are really many products we can get which ranged from facial, toys, hair accessories, kitchen accessories, and many more. All the products has been displayed on the rack. I think this shop is something like the “100 Yen” shop which you can see it some where but this Daiso has more range of products than you could imagine. Daiso is Japan’s No. 1 ranking livingware supplier. I do spotted some Japanese family drop by at this shop trying to get something for their kids.
For your info, I have bought 2 empty bottles for my shampoo and conditioner and a hair band. While my bf, he bought an air freshener for his car and very funny…a toothpaste le. After went home and try it, he say, very weird. The toothpaste is salty…..no ideas at all..haha…the next day, he go back to Watson and buy Colgate….

Purple Cane Restaurant @ Shaw Parade

Is CNY celebration…..as usual I would be having a gathering with a group of my friends. This time, we have chosen Purple Cane at Shaw Parade. To be honest, last time, our secondary school is nearby there. Haha…But since after our school, we really seldom go there.

Since we have 9 peoples in a group, so we decide to order a table set menu. This year, Purple Cane Restaurant has offered few types of table set menu which so called“The Prosperous Purple Glow New Year Tea Cuisine Special”. All of us agreed and decided to choose the “AROMA” set (can be shown in their leaflet and you can check it out in their website).

The set is consists of “ Yee Sang” , 7 main dishes and desserts and a special selected tea (RM398 nett). Overall we are satisfy with the food but somehow, we unable to finish it all. Since is a Tea Cuisine, mostly all the dishes have added some sort of teas, either tea sauce, tea leaf etc…haha…We are really full after the 1st few dishes. The end, some of the foods, we have “ta pou” back home. The environment is nice and more new than the one at Jalan Maharajalela branch….lol…

A good place to have nice tea and to have some nice, healthy foods…..Especially suitable for a family or friend gathering dinner.

The full set of my new year tea cuisine…hehe…I unable to get the photo of “yee sang” coz they already started want to toss the “yee sang” by the time i took out my hp to take pictures…haha…too hungry lio…

Aromatic Crispy Duck – Nicely presented with pieces of fried eggs slice, spring onion and green vegetable. Wonder how I eat it? Take the green vegetable leaf and put on a plate. Put a piece of egg slice and a slice of duck meat. If prefer spring onion, you may add on…put some sauce which has been given and lastly wrap everything together and taste it.

Homemade Tea Soup – Each of us got a pot. At first, we thought is tea but then after the waitress informed us is a soup, then we felt surprise. Is some kind like herbal soup. Not so oily and is acceptable for those who does not like Chinese herbs soup…hehe…

Stir Fried Slice Fish with Dragon Fruits in Rose Tea – No worry, it is not red color. Those rose tea has been blended like powder and sprinkle in the middle of the dish. Nice to try too. I think you guys can cook it at home and with other fruits too…

Braised Chicken with Sweet Chili in Lychee Tea Sauce – To be honest, I don’t see to taste any lychee inside the dish. For me, its is like something sweet and sour chicken with tomato sauce…hehe…the dish is served with some soft buns.. I really love the buns..It is nice to eat while it is hot. Yummy!!

Sauteed Prawns and Sweet Corn with Long Jing Green Tea – I think is prawn cooked with thick and creamy sweet corn soup..hehe..this is my 1st time try this…

Braised Beancurd Sheets with Monk Vegetables in Shui Xian Tea Sauce – I did not taste much of this dish as I don’t really like mushroom. Im already feel full…But after many heavy dishes, it is good to have some light vegetables….

Homemade Steamed Pearl Rice Ball with Oolong Tea – This is nice. Soft and aromatic. I shared with a friend just to have a taste of it. Some of my friends has to “ta pou” since it is kinda waste if left out too many on the table.

Green Tea Lotus Dessert – a pear like dessert stuffed with lotus paste. Not so sweet. Is a cold dishes. It actually is like eating moon cake but in different shape.

Lychee Black Tea with Red Bean Taste- It is the sweet red bean soup. It is actually too sweet for us already. Most of us did not manage to finish it. We all ended up drinking many teas to cover the sweetness…

I think most of the dishes you can order through the ala-carte menu and hope you enjoy the food there.

Traditional Recipe Restaurant

Last weekend, we have been driving around to find any nice food to eat. At 1st, my bf say there is a nice “pan mee” in Sunway Damansara but he unsure the shop name. Then we saw a nice shop and we saw a banner stating there is “pan mee” and we get in. Who know’s that after get in, and then we know we get the wrong shop. But still ok. We still get what we want…

Beside pan mee, this shop also did offered their customers more variety in term of rice and noodle. They have Fish Ball Mee, Wan Tan Mee… And what special is they do selling rice dumpling le… (in canto “ Chung”). If you feel that you are full for some heavy meal, maybe you can have some light food like fried wanton or taufu or maybe have a try of their dessert: Glutinous Ball , Soya Bean Snow Fungus, and many other types of nice and I think expensive teas enjoy there.

After many heavy meals during the CNY, we decide to some soup “pan mee”. We ordered 2 types of different kind of “pan mee” which there is a “thumb” in the menu which means recommended by their Chef.

Farang Teared Noodles (translation in canto – Pan Mee in American style) : The different for our usual “pan mee” is they replace the normal pan mee noodle with some spaghetti style noodle(the curly ones). Then for the ingredients, they have crabstick meat, fish ball and some cute cute mushrooms. Lol..

Special Hand Make Teared Noodles : Erm, I think special is the “pan mee” noodle is really hand made. The noodle is not so smooth / nice shape like what you did saw outside. I think they tear slice by slice with their hand and one special thing, I think they also include some “greeny” color “pan mee” noodle. I think is the vegetable noodle.

Lastly, we share a cup of green tea (RM3.50)…hehe…can save money ….haha…

I think soon, I will be there to try their rice dumpling. Hehe… Overall, the food is good and not so oily for us. Healthy and can keep fit…This is me and my bf target for this year…we are eating and gaining weight a lot during the CNY…poor…haha…ganbateh!!
