So, few days before, i had made a reservation table in this restaurant. We were guided our way to the 2nd floor into one of their tatami room. We are so glad that we were placed in room because we know we are always make the biggest noise whenever we are seated in a group. Quite "paiseh" too because all of us are girls...haha...There sure always laughters with us when we are together. We have been knew for each other since primary or maybe secondary...
Any how, lets get back to our japanese dinner on that day....Actually there menu is quite good as most of the dish will be shown with a pictures At least, we know what we are ordering or how the dish will be look like when it is served to us. The waitress is quite helpful and truly friendly. Below is our orders:
A warm green tea.....
Nihon Kai Maki (RM26) - rice sushi wrapped with crab stick, raw fish, egg slice and some pickled vegetable(i guess)....The piece of sushi is quite big compare what we could see in the picture shown in the menu..One of my friend quite surprise too...
The Map
Tamago Don (RM9) -a japanese rice on top of an fried egg...i think...served together with a soup and some mixed vegetable..The dish looks simple but my friends seem to love it so much....I forget to asked whats inside the fried egg....i saw got onions....
Nabeyaki Udon (RM 13)- nicely done and look not oily...the soup very clear. With a piece of prawn tempura...
Ramen (Rm13) - not sure what ramen is it. But it looks yummy but tend to be more oily than the udon. A good choice for those who does not like to have rice in japanese restaurant...
Tenzaru Soba (RM13)- this set is quite large portion. When i saw the soba, i feel full lio..haha...But this set look so special...served with some mixed tempura, miso soup(i think) and a quails egg. Actually this is the 1st time i saw the egg being presented like this. How to eat this? The quails egg need to crack on the soup given with the spring onion etc...and mixed it together. The soba will dip into the miso soup and eaten together. What a lovely dish....
Nihon Kai Sp Maki (RM16)- This sushi is really something different from the normal sushi which is wrapped with rice. It is some green vegetable, raw salmon etc being wrapped together with transparent rice paper( if not mistaken) with some mayonise...This dish quite refreshing refreshing is i bet it you can eat a lot of piece of this...haha...
Inari Sushi (RM7.50) - it is the fried tofu skin stuffed with japanese rice. Im sure you can see this in every sushi restaurant.
Mix Sashimi (RM28) - least and not to say....a small set of mix sashimi for the day....is raw and to be honest, i need to dip into many wasabi and soy sauce before i could put into my mouth.haha..because im not so good in eating something raw...
Overall, the place is very nice and warm. And since we are sitting in a tatami room, we are not disturbed by any loud noises outside and we just having our fun all the time.
