Little Jims Cafe

An early morning thinking to have some dim sum but it was fully packed. No choice and saw this cafe...not much customer and we just walked in to have our quick breakfast...very lazy to walk further and looking for other foods...

The main entrance

Little Jims Special (RM3.80) - is actually something like the 3-layered tea...bottom is the brown sugar, middle - milk and top is tea....nice and refreshing...

My bf ordered a Plain Rice (RM1.50) to have it together with Curry Chicken (RM6.20). The curry gravy is nice and not too spicy with quite a good portion of chicken meat and potatoes...

Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken (RM7.50) - quite disappointed with the fried chicken. The meat is so dry and hard to chew....and tasteless...I should just ordering a plain nasi lemak which I guess should be cheaper..

Lastly, we have Steamed Bread -Kaya + Butter (RM2)....it is still hot when serving...so the bread is just so soft with the fragrant of kaya and butter...

Guess, the food there is just normal....and nothing much special....dont think I would be there for 2nd time...due to bad experiences with the fried chicken...

D'Rich @ SS2

Last Saturday night, we decided to try a new place...which we spotted at SS2...any way(beside / behind) the BHP Petrol..Im sure you saw it from there....It is the D'Rich -King of Good Food...hehe...1st time hear it....So hard to resist it ...and here Im ....

View from the front

At simple glance, the menu item especially the beverages is slightly same with the Pappa Rich but not extensive like it...but they have their speciality too...They do offer some nice desserts like cake . I wish to try but it just too sinful to have it during night time...because I scare fat...haha..

One of the counter...my view here saw many cake being display on the fridge...and those staff busy preparing bread and other foods to serve the customers etc...

The environement - it is open air here but i noticed there is an air-con area deep inside the place...Anyway, night time is just good to be outside...feel the cool breeze...and might be feeling some mosquito bites...haha

Our Drinks : Ice Barley Lime (RM3.50) & Cham Ice (RM3.50)

White Tom Yam Mee Hoon (RM11.90) - this tom yam soup is nice...quite spicy and sour , but I love it the way...haha...the soup is clear with lots of fresh seafood.
Sze-Chuan Chicken Noodle (RM6.90) - the noodle is nice...smooth and chewy...and the portion given is way too much for me..with some sliced spicy chinese pickled vegetable and chicken...to add some spiciness taste on it..

Seaweed Chee Cheung Fun with Shrimp Floss (RM2.80) - simple HK style chee cheung fun.....wrapped with some seaweed....and topped with spicy and salty shrimp floss...which add in flavour to this simple dish...not to say soy sauce also acts an important part here...

Anyway, it is nice eating there...will be there again to try their cakes...

Snowy Dessert Home @ Sunway Pyramid

After our dinner, my friends suggested us to have some dessert. One of my friend from Klang, CS....is going to open a new dessert house...so he has been venturing all around to see how others is operating a dessert house/ cafe...And here is what he suggested since is quite nearby our dinner place...heading to Sunway Pyramid...

In Sunway Pyramid, there is a place called Asian Avenue whereby you saw many small outlet being opened and another corner is food outlet...We stopped at an outlet which very sweet and pinky....namely Snowy Dessert Home....the dessert house do mentioned healthy dessert...I guess is they do served bird nest and harsmar . And there are a lot of fresh juices and fruits available.

Their Menu - looks nice and colorful too...

But hard to believe that such a small outlet do served bird nest in some selected desserts...haha...

Ginger Tong Yuan (RM4.90) - just have 3 pcs of glutinious rice ball with black sesame filling..haha...quite expensive...

Fresh Fruit Sago - Kiwi (RM6.90) - color and presentation looks quite attractive...

Lots of Mango stuffs here (RM6.90 - RM7.90 per bowl): Sago in Mango with Black Glutinous Rice / Red Bean / with coconut milk / with mango sorbet..

In the menu, they high recomended for Sago in Mango with Black Glutinous Rice / Red Bean (with thumbs up!)....but upon having it, my friends and I dont feel liking it...quite tasteless except the sweet flesh of mango cubes....and dont seem to match well with red bean or black glutinous rice...Maybe the one with all mango flavour alone would be taste nicer...

Peanut French Toast (RM3)- quite oily and sweet...

Beside those sweet dessert, they actually do served other dishes like rice, noodle and some other snacks ....I guess during some hot weather or tired shopping at Sunway Pyramid, is good to drop by there..maybe for a fresh fruit juice etc...

GeorgeTown White Coffee

Welcome to GeorgeTown...haha....sorry Im not at GeorgeTown, Penang....but at GeorgeTown White Coffee...very similar to the Old Town white coffee but this is Penang style...haha..

A short blog to prove to some of my friends that this cafe did exist...When i mentioned to them, they keep laughing and ask me "Sure boh??""...Few photos to prove it...lol...Last week, after a seafood dinner, my friends asking me for a place to have a drink and chit chat...so I suggested this place...yes, I would know there is not much different about this....but I just curious to go there only...

Food & Beverages Counter

A giant information board about GeorgeTown

That time, we just order drinks only because we still full with the our dinner...

Hot Honey Lemon

Lychee Ice

There is a bell in each table for better service...

My conclusion, in term of the food and beverages served, there have some differences...such as GeorgeTown White Coffee have Nutmeg drink, teochew style of cendol.,Penang Kiew Tiew etc..if not mistaken..I like saw it in menu before...haha... ..There have an outlet at Jaya33...Mostly they are serving popular dishes which available in Penang...lol...If you like Penang food, maybe you should go there to check it out...

Fyi, I really love sweet desserts such as cakes, puddings, ice cream, and many more...And due to this, I always ask my bf to bring me to such place to try. And due to this, he always blame me for making him gain a lot of weight too...haha...anyhow, my bf spotted this cafe one day ....and he know I should love this...Yeah!!

The place was decorated with a lot of ornaments like fake strawberry plant crawling on top of the ceiling nearby the counter ...hehe...looks so sweet ...There are a lots of cakes / bread being display near there...When you saw the cakes from the glass fridge....you feel so happy and so hungry at the same time...Im so undecided what to eat....haha...

Cakes are available in slice or as a whole....The price is acceptable...consider quite cheap too...with lots of flavour to choose...They do have some nice cupcakes too...
German Cheese Cake (RM6.50) - cake that i choose...a layer of cake with a layer of cheese which simply decorated with a small strawberry and covered with a thin layer of something sweet...(dono how to say that word)..it is sweet and transparent...

Lavendar Tea (RM10 for 2 person) - such an early day and i was thinking to have some hot tea so we decided for a Lavendar tea for a relaxed mind....hehe...we are given few butter biscuit too...

Tomyam Bihun (RM5.50) - feel too oily oily but taste wise still ok....

Pumpkin Bun (RM4+) - bought this bun back home to try...the bun is with pumpkin filling with lots of sesame and melon seed on top of the bun...quite nice and healthy...

Fyi, they do offer catering service for birthday / wedding party too...

I guess, I will visit more on this cafe due to I wish to try out all the flavour of the cake they available .....haha...Guess, my diet plan is always failed le....!!

Leo's Cafe @ SS 2

Foodies agian.... That day im quite busy due to i need to attend a wedding dinner at night. But the noon time, i stay with my bf to have a meal with him..haha...Just to have some time with him even we dint talk much..but we always fighting to play with his iphone games...that's the fun we always have...trying to beat each other score and ended up the battery always running low.

Anyway, we went to Leo's Cafe at SS2 due to there are equipped with wifi and that time, there are not much customers so we found a table to sit. And another good thing, the cafe got air-con. Sometimes very hard to find a place to eat especially during lunch time and that time is the most hot and sweaty...

While my bf busy downloading games and i begin to make order...sometimes my bf very lazy and browse the menu a while and just ask me to help him order this and that....here our meal...

Hot Lemon Tea(RM3.50) for me ; Leo's Cham Iced (RM3.50) for him....

Buttermilk Seafood HK Yee Mee (RM8.90)- He saw wrong thing..suppose he thought he is ordering those normal claypot yee mee...but when the dish served...it really look like yee mee but different gravy...is those like cheesy/ buttery gravy instead of egg gravy...so surprise...haha...his diet plan totally spoiled that day...ended eat up a more heavy meal...is a good try but really need to eat while it is still hot ..if not, you will feel the gravy like too sticky to put into your mouth...

Triple Decker Sandwich (RM7.90) - never expect it to be quite big slice of bread. Triple slice of bread with ham, sliced tomatoes, eggs and dressing with mayonise etc....and served together with fries...super full..i never had so much bread in a day before...

After the meal, we continue our iphone game....haha...

Lunch at Pappa Rich

Weekend is always a day to be with my loved one...Once a while we would feel bored not sure what to do...As usual, we sure have meals together for whole weekend unless friends invite us to join them...We have a light breakfast that day. Not sure what to have, we just went into Pappa Rich without much thinking and lazy to walk more...

Weather is super hot. My bf had order a iced coffee....looks quite "kao" in term of the color ....Look like nice to drink...

I spotted their menu have Soya Milk with brown sugar...and so i just ordered it...a warm soya milk ...not so sweet....

Once a while, i felt my bf and I sure have the same taste...Both tend to like spicy food. But he likes it more... He ordered himself the mee with dry curry...It looks simple with a a piece of chicken.....

And as for me, i have asam laksa. It look like quite same with 2 pieces of chicken whereby my gravy look more watery...and i have fresh clams and some beancurd....Quite tasty actually....the bowl is quite large and i almost cant finish it...I let my bf have some...keke...

For extra, my bf ordered a piece of steamed bun with roasted coconut filling....this is quite surprising us...when we saw in the menu, there are a lot of coconut filling given but the one we have...haha...so little....

Anyway, we went back with a full stomach till night time, we just have porridge only...

There are many Pappa Rich outlets located in Malaysia. Check their website here

Wong Kok Char Chan Teng - 1Utama Branch

Im sure most of all would be dropping by at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng before. Yes. I have been to their Leisure Mall branch and also 1Utama branch. It is something like Kim Gary Restaurant to me offering those "Hong Kong" style of dishes...

Anyway, just so coincidence that i drop by at 1U and finding El to have lunch together...hehe...It has been about 5month we dint meet each other. Quite miss her too...We dont changed much and same very "kepo" only..haha...We just talk watever we want and interesting. I know she is quite busy and stress for her current job. But hope she could be strong and "ganbate" more lol...

To avoid any time wasted, we just have our lunch at the Wong Kok and make our orders. The place is quite spacious but at the same time the air-conditioning is cold too..Maybe during that time is lunch hour, so there are a lot of customers having their meal there.

Below is few of the things i have ordered. Some pictures im too lazy to take and dont feel any special on it..haha..

Iced Honey Passion Fruit (if not mistaken the name) - see the floating passion fruit seeds?? this drink is very refreshing and big enugh to share for 2 person.. But somehow, i managed to finish it by myself...haha...im really a "water tank"....

Ham & Bacon Sandwich - Quite dry and plain the for a sandwich eventhough i love to eat the bacon and ham together. Included is the sliced cucumber and tomatoes. And just have 2 pieces only. Dont think can share too...

Fried Ham Roll Meat (something like this name, lol) - recomended by El, quite tasty and it served hot to our table. It something like ham rolled with fish paste( i guess) and deep fried. Very yummy...we all like this...

Im sure you all guessing why there is just snacks?? Actually that time im quite full, so i just order something light to fill my tummy and have more chatting with El...

Anyway, Wong Kok do serve a variety type of foods and beverages . If so happen you at one of the their branch, just drop by there to have a look on their menu and try it yourself....especially for those who loves "Hong Kong" style of dishes...

I bet most of you all heard of Old Town, Old Taste, Old Friend ...and bla bla ....of such cafe like rite?? haha...The most famous of all should be the Old Town. To be honest, i have been there most of the time if we have some friends gathering. It should be a quite convinient and easy to be found in every areas of our houses..hehe..

And this time, what caught our attention is "Hometown Hainan Coffee"...haha...At 1st we are quite hesitate to go inside but we dont mind have a try ...hehe..I think this is a newly open outlet whereby the place look nice and clean. There is a corner furnished with sofa, cushions, magazines and few PC for internet surfing. That time when i reached there, that place already taken by a group of family...looking like is their family gathering and they enjoy so much(unable to get a nice shot because the group of family thought im taking their picture, lol)
In the other corner, we are sitting nearby the counter where the food and beverages is being served. We were given menu to look in. Actually we already done with our lunch but we just went for a drink only...haha...thats y all of you all know why i can increase my weight so easily lol...

Below is our orders:

Station One Cafe - Taman Mutiara, Cheras

Last Sat, my bf and I had stopped at Station 1 Café nearby my area to have our breakfast. At 1st we thought it would be something like Old Town but it lacks of some simple breakfast set. Something like “roti bakar” with kaya or butter etc..haha…

We roughly look through the menu and we saw there are some western, asian foods and some snacks to choose from. We noticed that mostly those meal is more suit for lunch & dinner or maybe tea time. That why we are so curious they open so early. And guess what, that time, we are the 1st customers…haha…we still saw those staff is having their breakfast only.

So, without much choice, my bf had gone for a heavy and also fat breakfast which is the Marinara Spaghetti –Seafood(RM11.50)…haha…The presentation look nice whereby on top is the slices of fried ham, I think… my bf say the prawn is not so fresh...so which make the dish did not taste good… …haah..My bf say I made nicer spaghetti than this…No choice…I add a lot of cheese powder on top of the spaghetti and baked for few second to make is smell nicer. My bf love cheese a lot. But I have to say, depend on his mood too..

As for me, I have chosen a Chicken Ham Croissant (RM5.90). The croissant is crispy. Inside there is 2 slice of ham with sliced tomatoes & cucumbers and splash of the mayonnaise. Just nice and suit for my breakfast. But I felt the croissant is slightly oily…

Side order, haha….we have ordered our favourite Fried Fish Ball (RM4.30- 5pcs) – quite an expensive fish ball we have..haha…but it taste good because it is still hot . Lucky they got put a tissue below the basket to absorb all the extra oil. Im sure you can find such fish ball in supermarket. Just deep-fry it at home.

As for drink, I have my simple hot Wulong Tea (RM1.30). Something to warm my body during the early day.

And my bf got himself a Iced White Coffee(RM5.60) – weird that the iced coffee hav whipped cream on top with sprinkled of choc powder…. Something like what we have in Starbuck. Haha…But overall the taste is still ok. Nothing much special.

Lastly, im sure it is a good place for friend gathering because I found out, there are some card games or magazine to read through if you are there. Im sure you would enjoy it in a group…So, have you all been there with your friends?? Lol…

p/s: i just found out that i ate the Chicken Ham Crossaint before but in Station One, Jaya One branch ...taste and presentation is slightly different...hehe..
