Last Friday, i just drop by Leisure Mall . As you saw from the ground floor, you see the stage decorated for the Mooncake Festival. As usual, every year they will organise a lantern contest which test every participants' creativity & imagination. You may see many different kind of lanterns which were sold outside but compare what you see in here, it is really huge and i think it is not suit to play by kids oh. I think mostly suit for display only. 
All the lanterns is hang on each level of the mall. You can see, some of the participants are using recycle material such as mineral bottle , soft drink cans or bottle caps. Really unbelievable that their imagination is really good. Some lantern is decorated with colorful lights which makes the mall more bright and colorful. I can see the design for the lanterns includes rabbits, flowers, dragons, chinese tanglung,fruits and one of my fav, CJ7..lol...
If me, i think i rather just buy one from pasar malam. I might have the high imagination but yet im lazy to do it. I think the contest result will mostly out during the day when Mooncake festival comes. And if not mistaken, those lanterns will usually be hang there for about 1-2 weeks after the contest ends. So, just take some time to see those beautiful and huge lantern.
Beside those colorful lanterns, you can visit those mooncake seller booth. There are variety of mooncakes sold there and you may get 1 box for your family or friends to celebrate the Mooncake Festival. Hope you all take a look at there and enjoy it when you all feel free....
