I have been to Melaka for many times but I never know that there are still many places that I haven’t seen it before or visited the place before. This time really a nice day for me to explore Melaka more well. We are following the Seremban road all away to the Air Keroh.

Welcome to Zoo Melaka

During that time, my 1st destination is the Zoo Melaka. Very surprising that many students have been waiting there to go into it. I thought the Zoo will be no different like what I did went before when I was kid in the Zoo Negara in KL. But this zoo like have more different species compare in KL. Erm…im not sure how the Zoo Negara now…but yet it still a nice destination for school kids to learn and get to see more animals.

The fee for adult is RM7 per person while school kid with uniform will be RM2 if not mistaken. Beside that, one more interesting thing will be the Zoo did provide visiting hour for night session ( 8pm -11pm). This is for visitors to know better of the animal habitats. In front of the counter, there are nice parrots le. But they don’t speak a word…haha…I tot they know…After paying at the counter, we slowly directed to the entrance. Once we get into the Zoo, 1st animal we saw will be the crocodiles. Few small crocodiles are being display in the big glass.

Then slowly we start the walk. We did have the map for the Zoo..And we try to follow. Each of the animals is being caged inside the glass whereby visitors are easy to view and possible to take photos. To be honest, all the animals look so tame and cute. Some are lazy…just rest or close the eyes when visitors there. No wonder the Zoo need to open a night sessions.. Im sure it will be more exciting during the night time whereby u can see the animals came out and show their real face.

Some of the birds are kept inside a big big cage whereby visitors can walk inside and take photos but must be careful because it is kinda wet inside the cage and smelly too.

There are many types of animals in the zoo such as lion, tiger, sang kancil, sun bear, red panda, snake, monkeys, cows, small horses, giraffes, elephant , birds and many more species. Kids will be very enjoyed in there. Beside that, I spotted a long bridge whereby it connects you to the restaurant and you can see the beautiful lake. Then, there is a canopy walk whereby you can walk on top of it and see the whole zoo. Then if you dare, do try their elephant riding which kinda entertaining.

If you are lazy or tired to walk, you may take their trems which inside the zoo and no worry, inside there do have some food and drink stalls for you to purchase some snacks. Even we just a normal walk but we also had spent about 1 hour more inside the zoo. Then we finally say goodbye to the Zoo and headed to other Melaka town.

Hey, for your info, I did spot some mini bumper car just on the opposite road of the Zoo. If free, just do visited that place too. Im sure it would be fun for those teenagers to drive the cars.

If between those areas, there are many attraction places to go such as Taman Mini ASEAN, Butterfly Farm, Crocodile Farm, Recreational Park and also Bee Museum where you can taste and buy the honey as sourviners for your family and friends. Inside, they did show to you the live bees inside a wooden box and it has display with many kinds of bees in the world. It a nice experiences to go for.
