Tutti Frutti - Frozen Yogurt

This morning, my bf thinking to shop for some clothes for his coming dinner. So he had suggested to go to Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre...hehe...once he mentioned this, i begin to think that there is something new and nice which i would like to try...haha....guess what isit??

Erm..it is something cold like ice cream....but not so fattening and it is healthy..haha..it is Tutti Frutti...is a frozen yogurt...i get to know this from a newspaper review...forget about that date of it...but i can tried it today.....haha..

Erm...maybe the time is still early or might be not much people would be willing to try it as it quite costly for something like this. You will never know the exactly price till the time you finish put everything and weigh it...Surprise le??

This is the 1st time me and my bf having the most expensive "ice cream"...haha..The fun is we can fill our frozen yogurt ourself. There are 3 cups which you filled in: small, medium & large. There are about 6 flavours : original, mango, strawberry, chocolate, lychee etc....And you can mixed any flavours as you like. For myself, i have fill in 3 flavours

The proceed to next step which is fill in those side items...haha..this is the most fun fun part. There are 2 parts. First part is the fruitty topping...there are lots of fruits & jelly in small cubes size to fill into the frozen yogurts...I saw mixed fruits, colorful jelly, mango, longan etc..haha....

Second part is the sweety topping...where there consists lots of sweets such as chocolates bites, coco powder, gummy bear sweet, biscuits, corn flakes, etc...just a lot that hardly i can name it all...

Here is my "creation" with my bf help...The last part is to weigh the whole cup...This is the worst part...haha...Y? coz is the pay time....above cup cost us RM17++(RM0.53 per 10gram)...scary le...i look at my bf...he look little sad....but he say as long im happy, then is ok...since is once a while. I bet there will be no second time, unless someone will pay for me..hehe..I think is the topping which caused the cup so heavy....haha....Maybe next time i try a no-topping frozen yogurt..

Anyway, we enjoy the part when we fill in those side items....The yogurt is quite nice and smooth...And most of all, it is healthy too. We prefer the original flavour....Make sure it is consumed once purchased coz i felt it is quite easily melted...

Hope you all could try it too....Im sharing it wit my bf so we felt we enjoy the moments even it is slightly expensive for us.

Movie & Dinner @ Mid Valley Megamall

Last night, me and my bf got 2 tickets to watch "Astro Boy" at Midvalley. It has been some time we have not been to Mid Valley. So my comment of the Astro Boy?? Is is really funny. Maybe due to im watching the cantonese version. There are english version too. But i prefer in cantonese because the way they talked is quite funny.

The movie started at 9pm but we arrived early. So we went to have our dinner. We are actually plan for a budget meal. So we did not walked far to look around of any restaurant. We just stopped at the Food Court areas. Dont think there is nothing nice to eat. To be honest, is actually quite a lot of variety of food being served there. There are local, Penang, Korean, Japanese, Thai food etc....Some of the price is still acceptable.

My bf and i just walked around and soon he found the meal he want to try...Is at the Korean stall. He ordered for Grilled Fish Rice(RM13+) ....i forget the name for the meal...hehe...The set consist of a grilled fish, rice, salads, kimchi and sliced potatoes, a seaweed soup, and a cup of rice tea. The set is quite afforadable since it is included so many things as above.

As for me, i have ordered for a Terayaki Chicken Rice (RM12.90)...There are deep fried chicken and pour with terayaki sauce, a bowl of miso soup and rice, salad and a cup of green tea. Just a nice set. The set is just in good portion but the chicken is slightly hard. If it is more tender, it would perfect....And the set is included government tax already...

After our meal, we went back to the cinema and get our seat for the movie. Our seat is just nice and good for viewing...hehe...Is 1st row at the back...What else we can expect and it is free one...We got it as we are the Spotlite Magazine member..hehe...

For the story of the movie is actually about a scientist who watched the death of his son,Toby in front of his eyes. He was so depressed and try to recreate a cloned robot who look exactly like his son with a truly advanced weapon and with a DNA left inside his son's cap, the cloned robot have all the memories captured and "he" thought he is a human. And the new "Toby" is actually survived with the help of the "blue energy" ...erm... so-called " powerful battery" to make him "alive"....But due to scientist just unable to feel the new "Toby" is same like his previous kid and wish to "terminate" it as when he saw new "Toby", he will felt sad and soon reliazed he actually a robot instead a human...the new "Toby" felt rejected and fly away...Along the way, he found out he has many powerful ability and helping all people around him....Along the long journey without his "human life"....he met with many real human friends and also many funny and cute robots...and this is how he get the new name "Astro Boy".....The evil trying to "terminate" him to get his "blue energy" power and the end, he tried to save the human being from the evil....

Erm, this is some of the storyline. If wan to know more, just go buy a ticket and watched it yourself. There will be English version for this movie. Is indeed a nice cartoon for family to watch with their kids. Astro Boy will be officially released today(19 November 2009)...

Hope you all enjoy the movie!! :)

Seremban Seafood Village

This is my 1st time landed on Seremban town. After we departed from Melaka, we try to follow the signboard and to make our 2nd pit-stop for our trip. .hehe..really paisei that i thought Seremban is just a small town but somehow, we get lost at there while we are trying to search for a restaurant...haha...Really never underestimated a town. I can tell you, it is as big as my hometown, KL..haha...

What we can get in Seremban? All of us would know Seremban is famous for the "Siew Pau" and also Grilled Crab... This time, we are here to taste their crab...hehe..

I have searched online and i get to know this seafood restaurant which called Seremban Seafood Village. We reach there around 5pm which just in time for our early dinner. The place quite "ulu" to me...hehe...At 1st we lost the direction and we ask the local people there to guide us. Once we reached, there are not much people as the day is still early and its raining.

As we get seated, we begin to make our order as we are quite hungry actually..hehe...

Their specialities crab as listed in a board...

Fried "wan tan" skin - something like "wan tan" skin being served but added with salt..quite salty and i dip in to the chilies sauce and it taste good..haha...

Special Chilies Sauce - a nicely blended chilies and garlic with coriander leaf and lemon juice etc...quite appetizing..suit to dip with fried squid or grilled fish...
Grilled crab(RM45 per kg) - is actually expensive compare what we have in KL. But no choice, we came here to taste it. Erm, my opinion, the crab might be cooked with the marmite sauce and then grilled or maybe baked it in hot oven...The sauce is slightly salty but i can accept it and it is tasty too. Fyi, the crab shell is all nicely cracked so it is easy for us to eat...especially for kids and ladies. The crab is just delicious even without dipping into the chilies sauce. And it is fresh and we hope to order more but maybe next time.. Out of our budget for that day..haha..

Stir-fry Noodle - a stir-fry "sang mee" which is one of their signature dish at there. "Sang Mee" is actually something like the "wan tan" noodle. It is actually quite a simple dish with some meat chunks, bean sprout, eggs and vegetable etc but it just brings out the taste we like...

Anyway, we have a great meal while in Seremban even though we unable to find the "siew pau" we want. By the time we reach KL, it almost 9pm but we are slightly hungry and we "yam cha" at Old Town. Next time, we sure be back there to taste the crabs...and hope to buy "siew pau" too..hehe...

Hoe Kee Chicken Rice

Last weekend, my bf and I went for 1 day trip to Melaka and Seremban with his little bro and his gf. Is quite tiring for the driver who is my bf. During all the way in our trip, the sky is windy and dark. And it was raining most of the time. So it is quite a cold trip for us.

So we waited for his bro who came all along from Pahang and we started our journey around 11am. We reached Melaka around 1pm and it just the time for our lunch. Actually we been to Melaka before during our CNY. So, this time, we are going there to try some other food outlets.

Erm, im sure whenever you pass by there, there is sure 2 food outlet which always having a long queue and people all taking umbrella and to wait for the table. Im not sure how special but this time, i finally able to eat the Assam Fish from the Hoe Kee which i always saw many ppl but this time, not much people due to the rainny hour....

Hoe Kee is quite a unique restaurant . All the interior are mostly in wooden and have the feel of theBaba & Nyonya tradition house and make you have the feel warm like at your own house. It may be slightly hot too...if the place got crowded...hehe...

We just waited for few minutes and we got our table and a guy came over to take our orders.

Our "accessories" for the meal...

Chilies of the day...I quite like the chilies actually....good to dip with the chicken...

Assam Fish (RM34) - They just left with fish head only. The portion is stil enough for 4 of us. Erm, the assam fish is not so spicy and i think it will also suit for those kid to eat it too. The fish is fresh but overrall the taste is just normal. They just put ladyfinger with the assam gravy. Maybe this is the baba & nyonya's style of assam fish...Maybe we expect too much as we also heard from my bf's sister say their assam fish is recommended there..hehe..

Chicken Rice Ball (RM3.20 for 16pcs) - one of the signature food in Melaka. Our rice for the day but in "fish-ball" style.. The rice is cooked to quite soft so it is easy for them to make it like a ball. The rice is little salty. I think they are cooked together with chicken soup & butter to make the rice so fragant. Very attractive to those tourist and kids...Beside my table, i got a kid trying to play with it rice and eating it like a fish ball..haha..

1/2 Hainam Chicken(RM14) - Hehe....For this, the chicken is quite tender and it is good to dip and eat together with the soy sauce on the plate. Anyway, we still prefer to have steamed chicken at Ipoh.

Green Vegetable (RM2) - our vegetable of the day. The portion is quite small but still ok. Nothing special. a normal vegetable..hehe..what you expect on a small plate of green vegetable?? lol...

Overrall the dish are served quite fast even we can see there are many customers. Maybe is our lucky day that time. If you are in Melaka, you may go there to tried their food but make sure you are prepared to wait as it will be a long queue sometimes.

Pizza Hut - Crunchy Cheesy Bites

What's new in Pizza Hut?? ...Lately, I have watched their TV commercial ads....and i very wish to try their new Crunchy Cheesy Bites Pizza because im so craving for the cheese...lol

It has been some time i have less eating cheese as i felt that im gaining weight. But this time, i just cant resist it and so i have asked my bf to bring me go. Poor us too...After this, we felt, we should be getting "fitter" again..aikks....we need to exercise more to burn all the fats that we had consumed on that pizza.haha...

Erm...is actually we went to the SS14 Pizza Hut branch and we are ordering for take away.

We has ordered a set of the pizza which is recomemded for 2 persons. The set consists of 1 regular Crunchy Cheesy Bites Pizza and 4pcs sauce-Coated Wings (Honey BBQ/ Sweet Chili) which costs RM31.90 .

The regular pizza is packed with 18 crunchy bites stuffed with 3 cheese flavours, 6 tempura king prawns, masala chicken, mushroom, red capsicum, yellow onion & cool lime sauce ( info taken from the leaflet above). Maybe the reasons we are taking away to eat at home, we felt the pizza is not so hot and the cheese started to get "harden" and dont have those "effects" as what i saw in the TV commercial ads..haha...then those crunchy cornflake crust also not so crunchy lio...aikks...a bad idea to take away. We should eat on the spot in the restaurant

I think the coated wings they give to us is the Coated Wings Honey BBQ Sauce. The wings is quite crispy and the sauce is quite sweet for us. Maybe the sweet chili sauce will be suit me and my bf as we prefer something spicy....next time we try agian the wings...hehe...if can...

Anyway, if you got the chance, just try it yourself. For those cheese lover, im sure it is a good thing to try. But make sure you dine in the restaurant than take away. Good to be served hot. After the meal, i feel too full due to the "heavy" cheese..haha....
