Erm, supposingly this place has been open since early of 2008 but last week was my 1st time go there. Actually im just walking there casually since radio DJ keep promoting the place with some new events which is the Festive Fun-tasy (Featuring Disney Lights and Lanterns).

haha...u never know, i really just walk around...looking at some cute little souveniers shops which attracts me. Else thing, i think is nothing special that what i can get from outside shopping mall. To be honest there are really many little shops which sell souviniers, clothing, toys and also some local delights which you can find in Melaka, Penang or Ipoh...All just can be shop in one place. Good for tourists to drop by there. Save time and save cost. haha...

local food from Melaka (Dodol), Ipoh (White Coffee) etc....

If tired, there are some places for you to hang out for some light foods, coffee, doughnuts, etc. I juz saw a nice cafe / restaurant called "Full House" . When i spotted it that time, it is really "full house" with customers. haha..Beside that, there are other shops like Starbucks Coffee , Ka Fei Tiem, Big Apple Donuts & Coffee etc....

Front Door of Full House...real car...

Here some photos of those shops and selling items..If interested and like it, just drop by there and get it. One thing, mostly the shop is without shop assistant.. i dono where they hide, so im not sure how much is those selling item...Weird le!!

Lum Mee – Pasar Pudu

This shop is recommended by my parents. She said it is famous for its “Lum Mee”. The place is not big so everyone needs to share their table. Beside “Lum Mee”, they also have curry mee, Chicken Kiew Tiew Soup etc.

So, for sure, I go there for their famous “Lum Mee”. My bf will order the same. Actually “Lum Mee” is the big yellow noodle with thick egg gravy. On top of it will have the slices of pork and prawns. Actually the yellow noodle is tasteless and with the help of the thick gravy, it add taste and the noodle so “slippery” in between your chopsticks. Haha..this shop may not have the best “lum mee” but I think they did make a success which many customers will drop by again and again to have their “lum mee”. One more thing, it need to pay if you needed their extra chilies sauce.

As side dish, we have order 5 pieces of meat balls. How to say, if not mistaken, their meat balls got dry cuttlefish (Tiu Pin) whereby not much ppl will put this in their dishes.

There are limited choice of drinks such as “leung sui”, ice white coffee, Chinese tea etc. . So, we just ordered the ice white coffee which is also those 3-in-1 packet white coffee drink. Please take note as some people don’t really fancy those 3-in-1 packet drinks.

Traditional Ice-Cream Potong & Lobster Salad

Last Sunday, I have attended a wedding dinner . That day is really such a good day for those lovely couple to get married. All the way from KL to Klang, I have seen many cars parked near restaurant or school halls to attend wedding dinner. And on this date, one of my friends (Chee Seong) has held his wedding in a large hall in a Klang school. I think got about 100 tables. And here he goes, no longer single lio…It will be a brand new life for him to walk through and to be with his newly-wed wife. Wish him happiness. lol...

Erm, what I wanna introduce here is this dessert which has been served at the end of the wedding dinner. Kinda special and surprise too. Is this ice-cream. It is served on the table in a box.

In front the box, it shows the flavours of ice-cream. Erm, durian, corn, honey dew, cempedak red bean etc….Once the box is opened, the ice cream is actually like the cube size with the toothpick in the middle. The ic-cream is colorful when is open is is good to eat as that time is raining time eh. At least, it still very cold when we ate it and it doesn’t feel like it will easily melt…nice and yummy….

Nice packaging, it is great to be dessert during party…

2nd nice pic which I need to share is this big lobster salad. It is our 1st dish on that wedding dinner. A giant lobster as decoration, whereby in the middle is the fruit salad on top of some slices of lobster meats…and many many strawberries...my favourite...on each side of the plate will have crab shell stuffed with meats. A beautiful dish which caught my attention to take this photo… and it is tasty.....

Malacca Town (Melaka)

Christ Church

Stadthuys

Melaka River

Cheng Ho Tea House -what a narrow path

Nice !!

Clock Tower

Beca Riding

Melaka is a famous for its historical places. There are a lot of historic buildings you can see in the town. Some of the building I cant even recognize what is it as I do not know how to read Mandarin. But my BF did explain to me in short le. Once of the famous place would be Stadthuys(Dutch Bulding) whereby you see the clock tower and the Christ Church. You can get most of souvenirs from there such as batik style dress, t-shirt, bags and house decoration. If you have the budgets and wish to try, you may go for the beca riding(Trishaw riding).

Baba & Nyonya House

If wanna go for some shopping, you may also go for a walk at the Mahkota Parade. A nice and big shopping mall at there..If looking for some special food to eat, then maybe you can pass by the Baba & Nyonya Heritage. There are many historic building and foods for you to try on.

Jonker stage

Jonker Walk

During night time, please do visit the Jonker Walk which look like a pasar malam or maybe a Melaka style Petaling Street…. Many sourviners you can get from there. And more, you can taste their local foods there. There is a stage whereby sometimes there are singing contest held at there.

No worry for those vegetarian too. I have spotted few places to have vegetarian meals.

If wanna buy some local food for your family and friends, I think I could intro you to this as inside this shop contains mostly all the local food. I felt it is convenient for visitors who are not sure where to get those things and feel lazy to shop 1 by 1 for those local food delights. This shop is Tan Kim Hock Product Centre. It actually introduced by one of local friend at there. But if you all looking for something freshy bake on that day, for sure inside the Melaka town would have it. Something like the fresh pineapple tart and maybe the gula Melaka and also Nyonya Kuih. My fav again..haha…

Below are the local delights which I have bought for my family and friends. What a nice trip and full trip…eat full full !! It just a short trip(2 day 1 night) and have to say bye-bye to Melaka but yet I feel I wish to go there again ….lol…for sure go there for their local foods le…hehe…..

Fruity Stick

This stall is located inside the Jonker Walk, Melaka. Im sure it opens during night time. What is this…It actually fruits being cut into pieces and put into stick and wrapped with the “mag-nga tong”….so lovely and refreshing. Beside the “mag-nga tong” , you may choose to dip the fruits with chocolates too. There are some fruits for you to choose such as kiwi fruit & blackcurrent etc. Erm, this sure can found in KL.

But I have chosen 1 fruit which more special and not so easy we can get in KL. If not mistaken, it is so called China mini pear which has been “jeruk” which is very sour but nice to eat. I told the guy I wan this and on the spot I saw him open a large plastic container which full of the “mag-nga tong”. Slowly he uses a stick and gently pull the "mag-nga tong" to cover the fruit stick around it all. And then he dip the fruit stick into ice to make it cooler. It so refreshing and so yummy….

Magic Ice Cream

Erm, what nice thing we can get inside Zoo Melaka? Haha…sometimes after a long walk, you sure wish for something cold. Inside do have many stalls selling drinks and snacks but what caught my attention is the stall selling ice cream. It so called Magic Ice Cream. Hehe…

At 1st, I tot this guy is selling soft drinks. But when I look carefully, I saw he slowly pour some of the soft drink into a small pot which include with a long stick. In between many many small pot….then is put in a large pot which I feel inside shld be ice. If not, how that small pot can be transform into ice cream. I have chosen 1 Orange flavor and 1 Pepsi. Haha…I cant remember the price..i think is RM1 per pieces.

Wonder you taste such ice cream before? But its actually make me cooler that time….haha..

Jonker Dessert 88 – The Museum Café

Im sure many places in Melaka do offer many cendol. But most of the times I have been going to this place for my cendol. Erm, the cendol is nice. The gula Melaka is not so sweet but once you eat, you feel the gula Melaka on ur cendol so yummy and so thick as it will not melt so fast like the ice. I love it.
Cendol

Beside this, they do have some meals for you all to choose from. We did ordered the Nyonya Asam Laksa & the Baba Curry Laksa. Haha…all is baba & nyonya style. Erm, the taste is not bad. We all finish it and to be honest, I felt the portion they give also not small. At least, I almost cant finish it.
Baba Curry Laksa

Nyonya Asam Laksa

If you even go Melaka, do drop by there for more varieties of meals which I think suit for breakfast, lunch, and dinner too.
