888 Food Planet

Erm, i just spotted this food court last week. and wow....the name is really nice..."triple 8" means "Fatt Fatt Fatt" in Cantonese. This food court is clean and build with 160 lots of parkings whereby after 6pm -6am, the parking is free. It something like "PatYeTin" in Cheras. This food court also hav 2 big screens using the projectors which i think it is really "syok" to have a drink there while watching the football match.

As you step into the main entrance, there is a small fountain which i think build in for feng sui kuo..then beside the fountain, there is a unique stall selling "lok lok"....all the "lok lok" is nicely served and every sticks has its color code to differentiate the pricing ranging from RM0.50 - RM4.

When you look into the food court, you will see many stalls inside which serving different kind of dishes such as Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Western & Chinese etc. Beside that, there also some shoplots for ppl to rent to sell magazines, books, mini market and DVDs too...Since im having my dinner there, i have order myself the Korean meal which is the KimChi soup rice (RM10). The stall is managed by a truly Korean man..How i know it? Coz the way he speak and make me confirmed he is not a Malaysian. He very recommend me on this dish and i trusted him. The soup is kinda spicy to me but it is served kimchi and salad with a rice. The soup consist of white taufu; taufu "pok"; vegetables and chunk of porks. The taste is still acceptable.

While my bf had ordered a simple sliced chicken porridge(RM4). The porridge is nicely served in a new pot and those sliced chicken on top of it.

For the drinks, we have choose the Strawberry Ice Blended(RM3.80). The whole glass in pinky color which on top it put some of the strawberry jam to add more taste to the drink while below it, there is some pudding which im not sure why they put below it. But overall, we love the drinks.

So, new place for those ppl who wanna try new area with new foods.
