Since today is Friday and feeling like in the mood for coming weekend, my colleague suggested to go to Sungai Wang to have lunch. Guess what, we need to pass by 3 monorial station (RM1.60- 1 way) to reach there...Anyh0w, better than what we can have nearby our office.. We really getting bored with the foods nearby our office here.

To be honest, their service there is so so. Some may not understand what we are talking too. To be honest those waitress is not young too..hehe...Mostly is old lady...And worst, suppose we are asking whether today do they provide chinese lotus root soup but the waitress who served us say dont have......But then when served to us, we so surprise the soup is what we want.....Dont you think very weird??

Anyway, lets get back to our lunch, Esquire Kitchen is having some set lunch ....every day have a different set. For Friday, there are having a Sweet & Sour Chicken or the Pork Chop Noodle. Both set is RM9.90++ . For your info, the Pork Chop Noodle is served with a glass of ice lemon tea and a small piece of herbal jelly.

Chinese Lotus Root Soup....

For me, i have chosen the Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice. This is come with a soup. To be honest, the portion is quite full...The soup is really tasty. I like it very much. Maybe i love to eat chinese lotus root...hehe...yummy...For the sweet and sour chicken, the taste is ok but slightly more to sour...

For me, the set is quite worth the price as they give such a nice soup....but i dont think i will go there always..Maybe once a while....when in the mood..haha....or on special occasion...

090909 - A Day to Remember....

Last night after i back from work, i get ready to wait for my bf to go pasar malam. He told me there is surprise for me. So i was not able to update my blog and to wish everyone Happy 09-09-09..

Yesterday was the 9th Day of Month of 9th(September) in the Year of 2009 .....As we know, the number 9(Nine) is an aucipious number to Chinese. Number 9(Nine) means longevity(aka "Cheung Cheung Gau Gau") to Chinese ....so many Chinese couple registered during the days as you can see from the newspaper..

Anyway, for my surprise?? I got a twin teddy bear....here some snapshot for you all....

I have noticed this restaurant for such a time but yet i really have not tried it before. When you reach there, actually you can really saw that there are many dim sum restaurant located beside. Due to my usual dim sum place is packed with customers, my bf decided to try this Restaurant BB 's morning dim sum...

Here are the dim sum we have :

"Chee Cheong Fun" - I ordered for the "char siew"...to be honest,The "chee cheong fun" is just normal but i love to eat their chilies...it slightly salty due to there a crispy dried shirmp in it....

Fried Yam - It is crispy from the outer skin but the taste inside is not what im expected...

Steamed "Yu Mai" - Quite nice...and fresh...with beancurd skin on below...

Steamed Fried "Yu Mai" - My bf love to eat this...i like it too...Maybe not too oily so he had no worry eating it...

Steamed Chicken Feet - suppose chicken feet is one of the hot pick for my bf but he seem dislike the chicken feet being served here. Based on what i see, i feel the chicken feet is slightly too dry...

"Char Siew Pau" - simple and normal "pau"....good to be served while hot. If not, the skin will get hard....

Total bills came out to be around RM2o+(include a pot of tea). Mostly all the dim sum are around RM2.88 per plate. Maybe what i have is those normal dim sum only. Anyway, do try it yourself. There are still many choices of dim sum you can try there...

Asian Food House Restaurant

Last weekend, me and my bf not sure where to have our dinner. Then we drive all the way from SS2, then to Damansara Uptown to find any nice dining place and we spotted this restaurant. It looks something like Taiwanese style of restaurant to me. From the picture, you could see the message they are trying to deliver to all the customer who saw their restaurant which is that they are specialized in Asian cuisine and also bubble tea.

From the menu, eventhough it looks like Taiwanese restaurant to me but i still saw some Korean and Japanese dishes too.. And not to say, there are lots of flavour for the Bubble Tea too. One thing more interesting, there do offers mini steamboat...Not sure how is it..Hope to try it one day...And their black pearl aka "the bubble" got a special name in mandarin...but i forget the name...Any how, if your drink is to add bubble means is additinal RM0.80 for the price of the drink...

Lets see our orders:

Papaya Milk Tea Shake (RM5 + RM0.80) - haha...i think not all could really like the taste. Slightly weird. And the color turns out to be brownish instead of orange color ...haha..

Blueberry Milk Tea Shake (RM5.00 + RM0.80) - This is more acceptable. Something like drinking yogurt to me...But it is not cold enough. Maybe not enough ice. And the drink turns out not so interesting...

Crispy Soft Shell Crabs (RM10.80) - our appetizers...haha...very crispy with some spices..it is served with Thai Sauce chilies ...

Taiwanese Fried Chicken Chop Rice(RM7.80) - The chicken is very crispy and it is still hot when it served to us. The dish is quite a balanced meal for the day with a rice, 1/2 pcs of boiled egg, 2 slice of tau fu, a bowl of soup, some vegetables and not to forget the chicken chop. haha...

Taiwanese Style Pork Spare-Rib Soup with Rice (RM13) - From the pic you could see the big bowl. hehe..the bowl contained tender pork rib, chinese lotus roots, vegetables and also potatoes....weird rite?? But when you taste it, you will found the taste of the soup is quite different. Like there is some herbs inside which cooked together. The taste of the chilies given (the green color sauce plate) is slightly sour and spicy...Added lemon, i think...

Anyway, the staffs there are quite friendly. A good place for small group gathering because i think the table is hardly can accomodate a large group of people unless the table is combined together...

How do you all love "Char Siew" ?? I think it is called sweet BBQ pork...i think...hehe...i juz know eating only...My bf told me this place offered a nice and yummy "char siew" which im quite doubtly. The place is like below a flat...guess what is around somewhere nearby the My Elephant Thai Restaurant. My bf has been bringing me to there for few times but yet we dont have the luck because the "char siew" very fast finish.

I really noticed..when i came in and make the order, there are about 20-30pcs of "char siew" hanging but after a while, it just left 10pcs of it. surprise too. My bf who made the order has request for a rice for 2 person with mixed "char siew" and "siew yok"....When the food is served, then i only understand why the "char siew" so fast finish. The slice that the boss given is way too think/ big compare the one serving outside...To be honest their char siew is quite yummy too...tender and not too sticky to your teeth..hehe..

The total bills came out slightly expensive which is RM17 but it is understandable when you judging the size of a slice of the meat they given. quite big in every slice.. yummy yummy.....Overall, i can saw many people queeing up to taste their "char siew". One more thing you may bring your own food container too, i saw some student doing the same......
