Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies

hehe...last weekend, supposing i should be very lazy to bake anything. But since my bf is busy and i got nothing to do and the end, i decided to bake some cookies for him. Last weekend, i have got him a pack of Starbuck Coffee together with the coffee press. Now, almost everyday, he can have his own Starbuck coffee with his own style. And here im, baking some cookies for him to serve with his coffee drink.

I should thanks for the person who has post this recipe. I hope she dont mind, im the beginner in baking so my cookies is not as nice as hers 1....haha...

After baked, the cookies is take out to let it cold on a rack

I have this recepi from wokkingmum.

Below is the recipe...
Ingredients:
200g Butter, soften
200g Brown Sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
200g Chocolate Bits
30g Corn Flour
220g Top Flour or All Purpose Flour
3 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt

How to do it:
1. Preheat oven to 180C.
2. Cream butter and sugar till pale and creamy.
3. Add in eggs and vanilla essence and beat well.
4. Fold in shifted flour.
5. Fold in chocolate bits.
6. Scoop spoonfuls of mixture on tray lined with baking paper or pipe on baking paper.
7. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, depending on size of cookie, until pale golden.
8. Cool completely on wire racks before storing in air-tight containers.

Note:
You can use Self-Raising Flour instead of All-Purpose Flour. Do not add Baking Powder and Salt if you are replacing the flour.

p/s : Erm, what i have learn from this...haha..dont greedy as first time, im not sure a spoonful is equivalent to how big is the spoonful of the batter. The end, i spoon a quite big batter on the baking tray and the cookies came out XL size than the normal you all saw from outside. But the taste is still good and still little crunchy...Anyhow, i will learn from my mistake. I will keep trying and improve myself. Overrall, the cookies is nice and lucky my bf still eat it too. I knew him for a time that he dislike eating cookies / biscuits....but this time, really give face oh...haha
