Sources of info where we can know from there:

A Blue Whale….

- Is the largest animal to have ever inhabited the earth – larger than any of the great dinosaurs and about twice the size of some of the better-known whales.
- can grow up to 100 feet. Length-wise, that is the equivalent of 2 city buses, bumper to bumper, and longer than an NBA basketball court. It is also the equivalent of 5 humpback whales.
- Can weigh up to 200 tones. It is heavier than 25 fully grown elephant combined – the equivalent of 2,557 humans.
- Has a heart the size of a mini cooper that can weigh close to 450 kilograms. A human could actually crawl through its major arteries.
- consumes an average of 4tons of tiny shrimp0like animals in one day. That’s the equivalent of 64,000 hamburgers.

Extreme Measures.....

At birth a blue whale averages 25 feet and weighs about three tons. Feeding only on its mother’s milk which is 40 percent fat, a calf gains nice pounds an hour. As an adult, it may easily stretch to twice the length of a city bus and weigh close to 200 tons.
