A Wet Thai Village

Have you ever wondering away from town ...to a small village beside a fishing pond...haha...This is here Im...I never know this place is that near and so hidden...Dont ask me how they can think of this place for their business but is truth there are quite a number of customers who will drive into the place to have a meal...

This place is so called A Wet Thai Village.Im sure you saw one of their branch in Taman Yulek. They are serving nice Thai cuisine...and for your info, this place is bigger ...as you can see...the word "village"...lol...They build it like a small village...with lots of huts...all the surrounding is mostly like inside a small deep jungle with a big fishing pond beside...

The parking areas....in front of the hut which is also the eating place...

The other part of the eating place...i havent venture into there due to my bro want to have a table near the fishing pond...

eating place beside the fishing pond...it is weird the background have those flats?? haha...do you feel familiar with place le?? hehe...Im sure some might have guess where is here already...

The chosen table ....the view i could see from my table...

They dont served pot of tea...mostly is all need to order individually...my parent just each have a glass of chinese tea (RM0.60).. I saw other cold beverage is standard price (RM4.50)...It will be expensive because we may tend to order more than a glass since we are having spicy food in here...
Kedondong Juice & Ice Honey Lemon (RM4.50 each)

Their menu.....there are actually of lot of variety we can choose.....you should check it yourself...they also do served normal & ala Thai steamboat....maybe next time i gonna to try it..

The pot of rice...quite disappointing because the rice served is already cold...and tend to be harden already.... RM6.40 for 4 person

Siam Steamed Squid with eggs in Thai style (RM25)- the white squid is stuffed with egg and steamed together...lastly pour on the watery gravy or maybe soup..lots of minced garlic and chilies....the gravy/ soup is quite spicy...anyhow, i prefer deep fried squid than this...this style should be works better using a fish...keke..

Pandan Chicken (RM15 for 6 pcs) - this is delicious...the chicken breast meat is marinated well and tender when eating it....but sadly it is just a small piece with a price of RM2.50 per piece...you may feel like not so worth it....haha

Ya Mong Mong / Mango Salad (RM12) - a dish which I always ordered...sliced of mangos mixed with special Thai sauce....sweet and sour the same time with some nuts sprinkled on top and some dried cuttlefish to make the dish more flavouring...

White Tomyam Seafood (RM20) - The soup is quite nice with prawns , squids, fish meat etc....It is a white tom yam...yes..it maintain the same spicyness and sour taste of a normal tom yam....best taken while it is still warm...if not, it might get salty the end...haha

BBQ Fish in Thai style (RM30) - my bro say the whole fish is marinated /cover with salt together and BBQ it till cooked...then when eaten, we will take out the skin and eat the meat inside...for this dish, i think the fish is slightly tasteless..should marinated more...haha...but anyhow, we are given a special thai sauce to dip and eat. The fish is fresh too...

Stir Fry HK Kai Lan with Salted Fish (RM16) - nothing much special about this and i cant get much salted fish in this dish too...so it look more to normal stir fry vegetable with garlic to me

Anyhow, we still quite satisfy with meals...At least we finish all the dish and back home full full...The good thing, i never get bitten by mosquito during the whole course meal...Fyi, im always worry whenever i need to have dinner in a deep place covered with lots of tree...because im very "attracted" to small insects...no ideas why...

Night view....

the journey to that village was really astonishing lol! i went for the steamboat area, but it's not recommended, as there're too little foods to serve actually..but stil, their tom yam soup really worth for two thumbs up!!
